Check if your makeup has an expiration date stamped on the container. If there is no date, follow the general industry guidelines below. And of course if your makeup changes color at all or takes on a different odor, replace it immediately.

Gloss & Glow: A Natural Look in Minutes
So many of us are constantly on the run but still want to have a touch of makeup for a little color. Women on the go need a quick solution for an everyday natural glowing look. To accomplish this look start with the very basics, develop a good daily skin care regime that includes a non-stripping cleanser, like the Rejuvi K cleanser and a high quality moisturizer. If you start with a well cared for "canvas" your natural beauty will shine through and it will make applying makeup easier. For a look that results in gorgeous, glowing skin and glossy lips; we recommend the Gloss & Glow approach! Our Crème Palettes have 2 Cheek & Lip Tints and 2 Glisten Up Face & Body Illuminator Highlighters. Apply the deeper Cheek and Lip Tint to your cheekbone and for a pop of color apply the brighter Cheek and Lip Tint to the apples of your cheeks. Blend well using clean fingers and then add your favorite color to your lips as well. You can top off your lips with a lip gloss for added shine and another quick layer of color. Finish off with one or both of the creamy highlighters on your cheek bones, brow bone, and the center of your forehead for glowing skin. You have a beautiful natural glow in less than 5 minutes!
The Perfect Collection Miniseries
I'm sharing another popular Facebook post, our Perfect Collection Miniseries. In this miniseries you will learn how to build a makeup collection to give you the daytime and evening looks you want.
Episode 1: Foundation
The first “must have” for everyone's perfect makeup collection is an amazing mineral foundation. I have been told by industry experts that mineral makeup is the future of makeup. Most people want a good foundation to cover imperfections such as age spots, blemishes, or redness. In addition to coverage, properly blending foundation will create a natural-looking canvas that looks like your skin - only “evened-out” and perfected. Jar Bar's mineral foundations are lightweight and even-out the complexion perfectly.
To help you prepare for Spring Break we are taking $5.00 off of our mineral powder foundations and the full size kabuki brush, the sale ends March 18th so get yours now. Our mineral foundations promote healing while allowing the skin to breathe. A must have for travel as well as for home!
